Frank Hendry - one of Liverpool's greatest artists

One of Liverpool's finest artists, Frank Hendry is renowned for his beautiful landscapes and Mersey river scenes.

He was a WWII hero, journalist and school teacher who sadly died in 2009 aged 85.  Born in Birkenhead, but moved to Liverpool where he taught in schools including the Blue Coat Grammar.

During the 1960's he spent several years working as a journalist for the Liverpool Catholic Pictorial newspaper, whilst continuing with his passion for painting and art.

Frank is now remembered as a true Liverpool legend whose memory is kept alive through his unique and distinct paintings. Highfield Hall Hotel is home to 3 of his landscape paintings that are now available for sale
